It began at an afternoon party a while ago at Robert Redford’s Malibu Broad Beach house. The talk came around to when Bob was going to direct another film. He hadn’t made one since Milagro Beanfield four years ago. He casually mentioned Norman Maclean’s book.
Wonderful beautiful River images. Edgar mentioned he is working you and out in Montana that summer….I driving through and went to your hotel and you where out shooting and would back until evening. I think had to be Sun Valley to my photo opening the next day.
